Post a story
nobody can
quite see.
GONE turns any image into a Story that flashes by.
A single frame. 33 milliseconds. Then gone.
One frame.
You drop a photo. We turn it into a 33-millisecond flash inside a 9:16 video. That's all there is.
Drop it to Stories.
One tap to Instagram. Most viewers won't even know what they saw. The flash slips past before anyone catches on.
No pause. No like.
No proof.
The video is too fast to screenshot, too fast to react to, too fast to talk about. Disabled by speed itself.

Common questions
I can't see my flash. That's the point — it's one frame at 30fps. Watch it from the Ready screen inside the app; the loop fires the flash every 1.2 seconds. On Instagram, view your own Story to confirm it published.
Will Instagram block it? The video is a fully-encoded MP4 — Instagram treats it like any other Story. There's nothing exploitative about a black video with a single visible frame.
How do I cancel my subscription? Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, find GONE, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
I want a refund. Refunds are handled directly by Apple. Submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I want my data deleted. GONE doesn't store your photos on a server — they live only on your device. To delete the app and any local data, uninstall GONE from your iPhone. If you want us to delete any account information we may have, email us below.

Privacy.
GONE is built to be quiet. We collect as little as possible, never sell your data, and never look at your photos.
What we collect
- Nothing about your photos. Image capture, encoding, and export all happen on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers.
- Anonymous usage events (e.g. "app opened", "video generated") to understand how GONE is used. No content, no personal identifiers.
- Subscription status via Apple's StoreKit, to unlock premium features. We receive an anonymous receipt token from Apple; we don't see your Apple ID, name, email, or payment details.
- Crash diagnostics via Apple's standard crash-reporting framework, when you opt in via iOS Settings.
What we don't collect
- Your photos, videos, or any image data.
- Your contacts, location, microphone, calendar, or health data.
- Your name, email address, phone number, or Apple ID — unless you contact us by email, in which case we obviously see your email address.
- Anything used for advertising, profiling, or third-party tracking.
Third parties
We use a minimal set of standard providers strictly to operate the app:
- Apple — for subscription processing and crash reporting.
- An analytics provider (anonymous, aggregated; never sold or used for ads).
Your rights
You can request a copy of any data tied to you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@get-gone.app. Since we don't collect personal identifiers, in most cases there is nothing tied to you in the first place.
Children
GONE is not directed at users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
Terms.
By using GONE you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.
The app
GONE is provided as-is. We try hard to make it stable and pleasant, but we can't guarantee it will be bug-free or that every Story will publish perfectly to every third-party platform.
Your content
The photos you process with GONE belong to you. We never claim a license over them.
Acceptable use
Don't use GONE to harass, threaten, impersonate, or share illegal content. We can't prevent it on our end, but if we become aware that the app is being used to harm someone, we may terminate your access.
Subscriptions
Premium features require a subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in iOS Settings → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.
Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of GONE.
